you go ask those people that stay in those hdb blocks nearest to MRT station in other smc and grc. The political parties visit those blocks that are nearest from the MRT station becos morning they will stand at the MRT entrance giving out flyers and then afternoon they walk to those hdb blocks that are nearest to the MRT for house visits And when the political parties visit a particular block, they will visit EVERY unit in that particular block. In 2015 GE I know of someone that volunteer for a certain opposition party. that volunteer said if the opposition visit a block, they will visit every unit in that block and leave their flyers at every door unit. If got residents in a certain block say that his flat unit was not visited by that opposition party, that means that opposition party totally did not go visit that block at all. Thought minorities mostly vote for the incumbent govt? As there are various help schemes targeted at them, they don't want to rock the boat. Solid support for lightning.

Re: GE coming
so what of the following outcome will happen on 11 July 2020?
1. PAP landslide win of 93 seats, wipe out all opposition. (Quote "someone said it will be a sad day for Singapore democracy" unquote) 2. PAP still win and can form government, but occupy less than 2/3 of the total seats. That is opposition successfully block pap supermajority. 3. All opposition together win at least 51% of the total seat and form joint-party government. 4. Same as current condition. WP retain Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC. All other opposition wipe out. 5. More opposition get voted in but less than 1/3 of the total seats. any other conditions? |

Re: GE coming
The current group of PAP candidates must have got the most unimaginative speech writers writing their speeches for them. They seemed to follow a "fixed" or "prescribed" template that was used by more than 75% of the candidates, as follows:-
Part 1: Self-introduction - incumbents will say "I've been your MP for the past xx years, first-timers will say "I'm no stranger to this place as I've been serving in the community for xx years." Part 2: Quote a so-called "heart-wrenching" story about encounters with a certain resident, e.g. Mdm So-and-So whose husband passed away, etc. Part 3: Throw names of programmes in the constituency e.g. "Kampung Canberra", "Butterfly Garden" etc. Part 4: Promise to find jobs for those affected by Covid-19 |

Re: GE coming
Got sample survey by election research in april shows that PAP will win by more than 75% this time round.
in 2015 when they conduct they only off by 0.5% from the actual results. Quite accurate. |

Mine experiences on 33 yrs of votings. I'm not brain washing anyone here but to share with a same "people" appear at certain point. Allong the way to polling ctrs. Strange peoples. Even back in 80s @Tanglin Halt.
This cowards are hired to scare voters. To confused us, I recalled yrs ago. An uncle holding $ looking and kind of talking to the air. Now mine friends. Do not be trouble and shits in your pants. Ignore this people and focus on what u had on your mind. U should have decide who u wish to represent you in the house. Do not be distracted. Our country is safe. May we have the wisdoms and the guts to select the right gov. I wish all honourable candidates the best and, you had done whatever you could. We shall take over tomorrow. |

Has all the opposition parties agree on who will be the prime minister? Do all the opposition parties has the same manifesto or will there be chaos? Will we see the same scenarios happening as in our neighbouring country? All these never discussed or spelt out in tv rallies. Just my personal thoughts .
