First, consolidate all the employment agencies under zenghu. All companies/employers must go thru zenghu agency to hire employees. This is a FOC service provided by zenghu to help companies/employers fill up their vacancies.

e.g. Company ABC Pte Ltd need a clerk. So they login to zenghu portal to submit a request for help. The zenghu HR specialist will contact HR of ABC Pte Ltd cfm the request to put up ads as per jobs bank.

Because all employment are consolidated monitored by zenghu. So companies/employer cannot say they advertised liao but no applicants or singaporean interested in the job and they have no choice but to try hire foreigners. They also cannot say salary issues because what they willing to pay so long have Singaporean willing to apply and work, there is no excuse of not consider hiring Singaporean. All Singaporean who attended interviews must submit feedback to zenghu indicate if they are interested in the position after the interview for record purposes.

In case of where companies/employers claimed none of the applicants are suitable for the position due skills required. Zenghu will step in to request the companies/employers to select one of the candidate for the job and send that new employee for skill upgrading program + OJT.

Under what circumstances can companies/employers appeal to hire foreigners? Only when after 1 month of ads under zenghu there is 0 sg applicants or 0 interviewees keen to take the position. In some cases really low applications. Zenghu HR specialist may also attend the interview to observe why the position unable to match any candidates.

Where companies/employers are allowed to employ foreigners, they must set contract terms of 1-3 years max depending on the scope of work/position level. The foreign employee upon contract expired will have to leave Singapore. The companies/employers will receive 3-6 months advance notification by zenghu to start looking for new Singaporean employee. The process will start all over again to fill the position. The companies/employers will have sufficient time to train/handover before the departure of the foreign employee. Zenghu will subsidize any payroll under skill upgrading + OJT + sg filler package.

For companies/employers who really wish to hire "talent". The salary of the "talented individual" should be higher than average Singaporean earnings.

e.g. Company XYZ Pte Ltd have a specialized/expertise position with minimum salary from $5000-$10000 up. Under such circumstances, companies/employers will be allow to do public job advertisement or approach private employment agencies.

As claimed, we have very good schools and education system. So majority of Singaporean should be able to take up or fill up all the available position taken up by foreigners. Singaporean should not be the extra because we are born here and to die here, foreigners are the extra manpower to boost our business needs or economy.

In view of covid19 situation. To encourage companies/employers to hire Singaporean actively, zenghu will help companies/employers to pay the employer share of CPF for newly employed workers for 3 months + 1 month payroll support so long they employ the Singaporean worker by 31Dec2020.

There is no perfect solution but can always explore.

While we understand the need of having CPF for retirement, we should also understand that using CPF for upgrade/education can have meaningful impact on people lives for jobs or career advancement which ultimately allow more possibilities of Singaporean to have good jobs good salary to reach that retirement.

Quite true. I just had one friend who asked me if she would suffer from a diminished chance of balloting for a BTO HDB if she were to vote for the opposition party this GE.

I never believe that voting is secret even in other countries... how hard can it be for them to find out what u vote for?

And yes I believe it will affect her chances be cos she vote for a opposition party... just based on my own pov

And lastly yes PAP will win big... I just hoping that Aljunied can retain their GRC Tan Cheng Bock can win west coast GRC and Chee soon Juan to win Bukit Batok... the rest I think PAP will win

I also hope that WP can retain Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC. I'm also hoping that, WP can shake abit of ground over at East Coast or Sengkang GRCS (win at least 38% of the votes in those areas), SPP's Jose Raymond will be able to successfully wrestle Potong Pasir back from PAP.

To me, the vote is indeed secret. But I think they more or less know from which neighborhood blocks the voting goes by virtual of counting at the Counting Station. Wouldnt think they go after each & every Opposition voter, that's only the fear in the mind of the voters.
Also wish to see more Opp in Parliament, more differing views raise the level of debate & keep the gahment on their toes.

Voting is 200% secret. My sister is teacher and worked as counting agent a lot of times. Totally impossible to find out and to be honest pap don't care.

But of course they care about that particular school what's the % of votes so they can redraw the boundaries next election

I agreed with u. Most will talk only end of day still MIW because all want good life and stability.

History will repeat itself in the last two general elections the turnout so good for the opposition rallies compared to the MIW but the result still turn out well for the MIW.

Let alone now so little air time for the opposition to reach out to the older population without physical rallies.

The sad truth is the population just don't have the balls to put their vote where their mouth is. More than happy to be proven wrong on 10th July.
