LIVE REPORT:

I am doing a quick drive though geylang at this very moment. Time 2.55pm.  Seems like some activity going on there.

Drove though lor 18 and 20 and I see cars parked in front of those previously popular thai and viet shops. Some have doors slightly opened with some lights on inside.

Curious, I drove through lor 6. All shops still dark, except 666 had door slightly opened.

Is this the beginning of some good news. Anybody has inside information???

Read all these together means that MOI may likely be lifted very soon and people have to look after themselves, meaning that spa's, MP joints, KTV's and red light shops gonna be allowed to re-open very soon. So all the FL can go back to work in GL with regular health checks. Fingers crossed!

Not possible to open on 19th.
Even if green light is given to OKT to resume brothel...... 1st he needs to get the premises checked and approved. Then he needs at least another 6-8 weeks lead time to get the paperwork done to bring in the WLs.... followed by briefings / interviews / medical screening when the WLs arrive which may take another 10-14 days.
Dun expect to see any brothel reopening soon......

In the eyes of the gahmen..... nightspots hostesses are illegal sex workers whom they have no control over..... unlike the WLs in the legal brothels. If the nightspots are agreeable to have their hostesses registered and subject to medical screening like the WLs..... I am sure the gahmen can reconsider and reverse their decision.

whoa, I mean GL reopening will be the best news we get in years. But then again, with SG, and also the whole world going with app tracing check-ins to enter almost every premises and all that,

what would it mean for the "anonimity" when visiting GL? One main thing about visiting GL is the anonimity. I don't think we'd feel comfortable if we visit GL and yet we are tracked what time we enter, what time we leave, and all that through the check-in requirements?
