Just curious, why is the forum Health Centre and KTV lounge Tangos only showing posts up to one-month old? Is there any way to access older posts?

Seems like every forum has different rules.

Old posts are no longer relevant anyway I suppose. WLs left/retired, places closed down, etc. So whats the point of wasting bandwidth?

I thot it's a very common practice that ppl tend to dig out some 5~10 yrs old threads & thereafter soooo many ppl start to ask for contacts ..

Let's use the forum Health Centre and KTV lounge Tangos as example.

1) OK, you are right, is true that very old posts can be found in a thread as long as the thread actually show up in the thread listing page (Showing 4 pages only).

2) However, threads in which the "very last" post was posted more than one month ago do not show up in the thread listing page .

Surely, a lot of the threads are still relevant even though they have no update for a month.

I suspect boss do not want to give too much free publicity to these joints to encourage business owners to opt for paid ads.

Lastly, can some kind souls up my points so that I can have my first power. Thank you.

I din go so detailed as u but one very peculiar scenario i noticed after yrs of browsing is that once in awhile ppl tend to dig out some very old obsolete threads, easily 5~10 yrs old, wif the poster asking for the sharing of contact.

But what is more peculiar is that subsequently after his post soooo many ppl will join in to ask for the sharing of contact as well ..

OK, I just found out that if you search for the thread (provided that you know the search term to begin with), it will still appear in the search results, just not appearing in the post listing page.

If u are really interested in points u can juz go to those points exchange threads & trade points wif them can liao, there are sooo many of such threads

For the fast moving sections with lots of posts daily I configured the limit to a month to optimise performance. However because of sufficient resources with the current server i have changed to a year's worth of threads.

If you use the full juicy version (desktop) you can configure the cut off whatever way you want.
