I would strongly suggest that you try to visit both places as both places offers different kind of entertainment.

Hatyai have a little BKK in term of cinemas and shopping centre and little of Danok in term of disco and clubs.

Danok will be clubbing and well.....you know!

If I am not mistaken it is to memorial the death of the king's sister....a respect they close the entertainment places including disco and pubs....chicken fun..dunno...I think so!
