Name calling is one thing... We Singaporeans also call PRC as Ah Tiong and Hongkie. But what Bro Captain1 had mentioned, does sound scary. Why such manifestation of hatred. Sometimes the media especially western media played a part by repeating the China threat "story".

Yes, there are bad eggs among PRC but so do bad eggs existing in our own Singaporeans. We are perceived to be arrogant and proud by Malaysians across the causeway. Sometimes when we condemn others we fail to see the dirt in our eyes. Feel disappointed we have such Gen Y punks. I hope it is not the majority who had such anti China sentiment.

Personally, all my encounters with PRC whether FL or business friends, are all pleasant liaison. Important is the mutual respect with each others. If one start off with a bias attitude, the other can feel it and of course retaliate with attitude too. This form a vicious cycle between the 2 parties.
