Don't be too harsh. When he played for us, many fans complain on his lack of defensive skills and awareness. Then when he leaves, we complain he left.

At least this season fewer teams may attack our right side. Because our right side is problematic last season. Slot told Salah not to track back to defend in order to preserve his 33 year old legs.

Last time Gini Wijnaldum will drop to right side to cover TAA when he attacks. Milner does it too. Under Slot, no midfielder does this. Slot just opened up the gap between VVD and Konate and expect Konate to respond

Our first competitive match is set on 10th August 10th against Crystal Palace for the Community Shield. Imagine we signed their captain Marc Guehi this transfer window.

At 1.82 m, Guehi is a bit too short for my liking. After all we sort of got bullied in the League Cup final by Newcastle's centreback Dan Burn who is 2.01 m tall. Hard to challenge for high balls with a 20 cm height disadvantage.

Our centreback tend to be around 1.9 m. Vvd(1.95), konate(1.94), quansah(1.9), matip (1.95), Gomez (1.88). Hyypia is 1.93. Lovren 1.88, Agger 1.91, Skrtel 1.91

Isak seems to be the dream sign

If Newcastle were not in the CL next season, i would have thought a deal was possible as Isak is in his prime and wants to be competing for the top trophies now

However, since Newcastle qualified for next season's CL i think the chances of us now signing Isak is very slim if at all

Rumours seem to be flying around that we are also looking at Julian Alvarez of A. Madrid as an alternative to Isak

Tbh not sure on Alvarez either

Osimhen is an interesting call but guess it all depends on whether Slot wants to try his luck at cooling Osimhen down or risk big disruptions to his squad

Even read a rumour about Gyokeres but i doubt that is even starter after our Nunez flop who was also a top scorer in the Portuguese league
