bro, not say i'm taking sides or what lah, just trying to be neutral. at the end of the day, no matter how proficient we may seem to be, we're still not native thai speakers. there's only so much we can learn from the books (which is also written by non native thai speakers).

another simpler method would be to learn from/ engage full stream thai conversation with a native thai speaker, though in the course of it, there'd be a common problem of picking up common mistakes as well ie; mispronouncing "R" or "L", or at times omitting of that particular consonent.

eg: [glâi] or [glài].... often mispronounced as [gâi] or [gài], [krap] mispronounced as [kap], [reo-reo].... mispronounced as [leo-leo]... etc.

as shared, there's more than 1 way to translate a simple thai phrase, by far, abiding by english grammar, we've managed to come close to the actual thai phrase, but i feel at times, there's just no perfect translation. cos, there are some vocabs that cannot be equated with another language.

*poetics found in song lyrics sometimes raises the handicap level too
