Reminiscences

T was an intern at the first company i worked in. I was 24. She was then 17 yo. Underaged when we first met. Nothing happened when she was interning. I was just the professional mentor sharing my experiences with her, just as with all other interns.

Fast forward 1 year later, bumped into her at a networking event.

(whatsapp beep)
T: hello! Are you at the xxxx event?
Me: hi T, how are you? Yes, are you there too?
T: yes. I'm at (her location).

I turned to her direction and saw her in a pale green romper that's not quite formal enough for the occassion. But we all cut some slack for an 18yo former intern. It also made her standout against the sea of formal blazers. She's 160cm, with black shoulder length hair, big eyes and almond shaped face. Slightly tanned for a Chinese girl. She also has a fantastic figure and altho I didn't know at the time but will soon find more details...

I went over to say hi and made the usual small talk. Then...

Me: shall we catch up over coffee after the event?
T: yes ok!

It was 2012, when young ppl were opening indie cafes everywhere. Brought her to one opened by my friend. Just got my car too. A small picanto but quite enough to impress a JC girl. She's quite impressed that I know the owner.

Honestly can't remember what exactly we talked about, just that we talked for a few hours of our lives, aspirations, her interests etc.
(9pm)
T: i need to go home already
Me: need to report to your bf?
T: I'm single, just broke up with my ex.

T: I'm single, just broke up with my ex.
Me: sorry i mentioned it.
(awkward silence)
T: I need to wake up early the next day to work on my university application essay.
Me: come, I'll send you home.

Sent her home and continued casual chat along the way. The mood was less tense.

Texted her after I got home.

Me: it was great catching up. See you again soon.
T: I enjoyed myself too. Yes, we should catch up again soon.

I thought strike metal while hot. Don't wait luao.
Whatsapp her once i got home.
Me: Shall we meet for dinner on Friday?
She replied almost immediately
T: Yes ok!

Friday couldn't come sooner. I picked her up from her place. She was in a light blue dress and put on some light make up.

She asked me to wait at her condo's clubhouse drop off point as she doesn't want her neighbours to see and gossip.

T: where shall we go for dinner?
Me: how about thomson area? Quite many interesting food there.
(i didn't mention it was near to lower peirce reservoir park =)
Dinner was ok. Nothing special and in fact i chose a cuisine she hated but she still said she enjoyed it (she only tell me after a few more dates)

Me: so full. Shall we go for a walk after dinner?
T: Where though?
Me: How about Peirce Reservoir. The night view is quite nice
T: I've never been there but ok.

After a short walk at Peirce we stopped at a park bench

Me: let's take a rest here.
T: ok

Frankly I can't remember what we talked about in the lead up...

Me: You are beautiful
T: (blushing) I don't know what to say next...
Looking into her eyes, i smiled, lean in and gave her a light peck on her lips. She looked stunned but smiled too. No slap, no negative reaction. I slowly leaned in again and gave her another kiss on the lip, this time holding on for longer.

She closed her eyes, I caress her head, and pushed my tongue in. She opened her mouth too and we engaged in a long wet tongue fight.

After what seemed like an eternity I broke the kiss.

T: You don't just kiss a girl like that.
Me: no i don't. I only kiss you like that

I realised I haven't really described T. She has an almond shaped face with big round eyes. She has smooth skin but her complexion is on the darker side. Shoulder length jet black hair. She looks like a more tanned version of Saori Hara.

Me: is this your first time?
T: yes, no, yes, i don't know.
Me: you are a good kisser
T: you don't just kiss a girl like that!
Me: told you i only kiss you like that.

Then I put my arm around her shoulder, held her close and she put her head on my shoulder. I kissed her on her forehead. She looked up at me lovingly. What else could I do? Kiss her on the lips again. A short tongue fight later i broke the kiss again.

Me: it's late. I'll send you back
T: (disappointed look) ok.
She is such an awesome girl. I want to let this last and not rush things. We walked to my car, i held her hand. Didn't really talk much and i sent her home. Same drill, stopped at clubhouse and she walked to her block.

While driving home my phone beeped. I took a glance and it was a message from her. Safety first so I didn't reply while driving. Parked my car at my place.

T: thank you for the evening
Me: thank you for a memorable evening. I hope everyday can be spent like this with you.
T: ok
T: i don't know. What should I say?
Me: =) it's ok. Shall we meet on Sunday?

I was thinking of a healthy day out, no R21 thing. But alas it was not to be...
