Lets start 1st topic, Are sg woman brand hungry?

The woman i meet likes branded stuff from handbags PRADA, LV....... nice car like EVO, GTR to even bras like Triumph, Victoria Secret. What do u think?

Guys, Gals, man, woman all kindly quote your ideas.

Well, I agree with you to a certain extent where the ladies love their brands, and stuff.. but i tend to think we are the same too. Wouldn't we like a Skyline/SLK/3/5/7 Series than a Cherry QQ?

But i digress..

I think ladies nowadays are more affluent and earning much more than their counterparts, so wherever and whenever they can, they buy more "upmarket" brands to make them look better. I think its skewed more towards a personal image than anything else. I once had an ex, who just loves shopping and buying branded stuff.. her face mask comes from some godforsaken country, and it costs more than anything else! But when i commented that, "it doesn't really make a difference, if u use Neutrogen* or this.. " She got mad! and her reply," It makes me feel good, and more confident!"

Yeah, so i guess, having a LV/Kate Spade/Coach on your elbow, Armani/etc shades on your eyes, Mango/etc, on your body, does make a lady look better and confident..

Well its only my personal thoughts......

I feel most but not all are..... Ask the following questions:

If you have the $$ power would you want the following:

1. LV / Gucci Bags? Worst still Hermes ??
2. A Rolex / Gucci / Cartier / AP / PP watch ??
3. BMW / Benz / Posh / Lambo / Aston .......

And the list goes on and on and on......

Me as a man I also like branded stuff, but the only big question is can you or me or any Tom Dick or Harry or for that matter any Susan or Marry have this $$ power to own it?

I think its not only about Singaporean Women but also men.

Just sharing my thoughts.

Not all woman does love those... Just like man... not all will love GTX/Evo etc... Some prefer Harley or R1 than a GTX/Evo...

But true enough that many woman are materialistic... Also, many are getting independent right now... Some rather to buy their own, than to let the other buy for them... But again, free stuff who don't want? Just don't have the idea/thinking of getting 'something' in return though =)

Well..... looks like our dear TS got lots of time to kill today.... hahaaaaa Same here business slow la.....

Anyway the following is my thoughts.

For me it depends on which type? Some yes and some no...... For ONS its relatively easy so long as u got the power of $$ / nice ride, and not too bad looking can liao.

If FB then alot more time and effort is required. There again not all SIN women is easy...... Some will think that they have gold and diamond stuck to their pussy.

Your first question, I think it probably depends on what's close to her heart. I know of some women who can afford branded stuff but don't believe in having them. They rather travel, which in itself, is paying for an experience rather than an item.

Regarding someone closer to home, my wife wears a pre-owned Rolex (has 2 and some other Swiss watches) but her clothes are no-branders. She can buy them from Zara/Mango during a sale or at the basement of Far East Plaza, it doesn't matter as long as it looks good. The concept of value is dominant in her purchasing decisions.

For the second topic, some women are easy to hook and if you can stay for the long run, your chances improve dramatically. My point being you can expend more time, grind them down through more frequent contact and they could be more amenable to more action.

On a separate note, for those that you can hook up on the first outing, its seldom something for keeps. Call me conservative but personally, I think it matters to the psyche of the male. You get tired of a girl that you can fuck at a snap of a finger and you really don't want that if you fancy her for more than sex.

its see how much gals r exposed into..
as for me, 4 yrs ago, an innocent gal wif only hangten, baleno & giodano clothes.. bags, bought in bugis etc..
now?? clothes r like frm forever 21, top shop, warehouse, mango, guess etc..
bags is LV & gucci .. if not is charles & kelith~

Lets make this thread alive again, recently i was surffing ORchard road since OC was out-stationed. Orchard was a place i had some wonderful memories as i PROPOSED to my OC in front of the President House 6 years ago. The police guards all laugh & even encourage OC to say 'YES'. Now recently back to hanging out @ ORchard i meant from PS to Taka..... i SEE @_@ a different story. Quite alot of PRC woman with old man from maybe late 30s to even late 60s. KNN !@#$%^. They asking for branded from their maybe HB, maybe BF, even mistress? Have woman FALLEN that DEEP????????

Braddah, just be yourself. If you value brands and get actual utility out of them then you will get along with women who feel the same. If not, its a mismatch. A lot of the upperclass in SG are not brand conscious. Generally, its the middle class who try to present a certain image who seek these brands you mention.
