Hotel 81 Tighten Overstay Rule

All brother pls take note that H81 had tighten their overstay rule.

They still give the 15 minutes grace period, but therefore will charge the extra $10 even overshot by 1 minute.

I was charged on 2 occasions when the chit showed 2hours 16 min and 2 hours 17 respectively. Since the chit showed over stay, have to pay extra. However, my own time on both occasion showed about 2 hours 10 mins, but as H81 are always so crowded at the reception, did not want to create a scene for all other to see my face.

My advise

1, Pls check the time the staff write on your chit when you collect the key, do not let they eat even 1 minute of your time as this may be S$10
when you check out.

2, Leave your room slightly early as the lift are very slow servingalmost every floor when it goes up.

3. Run down the staircase if needed and breast the tape.

4. Always tell the counter staff you want a reminder 10 minutes before time is up. We all thoght it is a SOP BUT it is not. When I asked them why no call, they said "YOU NEVER TELL US TO".

However, dun really understand why they want to be so stickly on such issue when most brother usually spent only about an hour when we had paid for 2 hours. They had recycled the room making even more money.

Yo bro it true in hotel 81 if u overstay for that 1 min they will charge u $10 but if u are a member they will give u allowance of 15min... the best it when u got the key ask the staff to give u a call before time up in 10min time that will be better cause in the front desk they got cctv so even if they said u didn't tell them can ask them to turn on the cctv and watch..... whereby u stand in front of the front desk for that 5min for what right.....

Just try to go to a few regular hotel 81 and click with the staff there and they will go the extra mile for u.

ya me also got charge additional $10 because late check out for 10 min.

I think if they ask to pay additional $10, it is better to ask for a recipt because maybe the person keep it and not to hotel 81.

i may be wrong but play safe.

Bro yup if u are non member u got pay $20 for deposit and $20 for 2hr transit sometime when they take $30 from you u might not be a member lor beware so time the staff will said now no room once got room will be $30 in some hotel 81

Yo bro u are right but as i had mention not every $30 u pay u will be auto be a member cause some hotel 81 charge $30/2hr.... as for the membership u may walk into lor 16 star it their main branch u may look for their manager to cancel i think able.....

Yup bro it better to get a recipt cause sometime they anyhow charge and that $10 they will go and buy coffec of themself heehee

*** Just to recap...... to be a member just $10 but made sure all bro do remember to sign the member form.... once u are a member for transit u will have a 15min allowance but the front desk staff will not tell you lor..... cause my frd work in hotel 81 at palace as a manager who's know some bro might know him as well it a handsome guy lor

no wonder, i always thought it was weird, how come sometimes 2hr h81 charge me 20 sometimes 30, didnt really think bout it much, now i think they might have pocketed the 10 bucks?

Yo bro as for overnite it from 12pm to 12pm last time member can check in as early as 8am to next day 12pm lor now can not liao now it 12pm to next day 12pm the rate are at $50 to $65 at most hotel at GL area ONLY.... if you check in 10pm above u can stay unitll next day 2pm if i am not wrong....

I feel tat there should be a limit of 15min allowance for us to check out, no point rushing us, and also there is with the rates, we have more hotel to choose from rather than 81.

Confirm won't..

Everytime when you checked out, you notice that they'll call the Attendents to clean the room.. The Pillow Case will be JUNKED whereby the Bedsheet is thrown down their chute to the collection centre at the back..

It's collected by Zero Spot Laundry for cleaning..
