What can PRC student works as besides at KTV?

I'm wondering can these PRC student from private school, work as part timers legally? Like at Resturant or shop. I know those PRC that study at Poly are allowed to do that.

Poly may allow their foreign students to work under special arrangement between the school and the MOM. Other den that, that's illegal for those holding Student Pass, LTSVP w/o applying for work permit, or STSVP holders....

For MLM, the company just register them as downlines in china. Noone will look for illegal workers at any MLM company anyway.

I suppose this is to help them fulfil their course requirements too. Poly students got to do work attachments right? Or is it uni students?
