Dull Testicular Ache

Anyone encountered this before:

A dull ache (not exactly painful, but rather irritating) in one testicle at a time (but may transfer from the left to the right). The dull ache feels like the same like when you hold and press on your testicles (e.g. self health check).

Surfed around a little bit, read articles that this may be a sign of Varicose Veins of the testicles; generally harmless - but irritating. Possible remedy is by surgically removing the problematic veins....

Anyone have such experiences (balls ache) before?

Believe it or not removing one ball only will have almost no effect on u. Nature is designed to b gr8

Actually, the removal of the veins is just to minimise the pain. But is it not normally warranted unless the pain causes great discomfort.

Checked with a GP....He played around with my balls

Then said there's no signs of cysts, tumor, and/or veins...so I referred to a Urologist for an ultrasound, then everything will be answered....but mentioned that there's nothing to worry about....it should be nothing.

Bro... this i totally agree. I have the exact same problem when I try hold my come purposely when it is supposed to be exploding. Then a few hours later the dull ache comes, like the balls telling me to release the excess fluid that is near exploding and cannot go back into the body.

Could be psychological. Have you been imagining that you have contracted some STD or HIV? If you imagine too much, your dull testicular ache can develop into groin ache, anal ache or neck ache. Maybe you fear to see a doctor so you self-checked and checked too much. Your lymph nodes and muscles become swollen. As suggested by one bro, go see a GP. Might not be helpful but better than no help.

Been 2 a urologist...and had an ultrasound done...awaiting results and review....
heard it may be varicocele...so should be nothing serious 2 worry about...

could be kidney stones...but ultra sound would reveal all

No Lah. My doc got back to me. He said was Varicocele.
Happens to about 30-40% of Singaporean males. For my case, not serious, so alright. If serious, there are remedy methods...like operation to seal-shut the problematic veins and re-route the blood flow through other veins. Minor surgery as well.

For those who suffer dull testicular-ache, go see a doc and ask for a scrotum ultra-scan. NOTE: You have to eliminate the cause first. If it's caused by STIs then its different story liao!
