"belly Unhealthy"

Recently i noticed that i'm developing POT BELLY due to lack of Gym & Running ! My golf really didn't help much on this body section.
Regretted very much that i didn't manage to follow up on my New Year Resolution 2008...and it's only slightly more than a month & it's 2009 !!! Time really gone in a flash !!!

Just wanted to share this info with any Pot Belly BROS as follows :

Read the above news article that it's a common signs of aging,as lower levels of testosterone cause FAT to accumulate at the waist.And for guys liked me above 40 will experience Andropause ( for female - it's menopause ) wc is our testosterone levels will be too low & the common symptoms are : low libido ( sex drive ) weak erections & feeling constantly tired !

To check this : we need to take a simple blood test to check any low testosterone levels.If positive,then we can either have testosterone injections or take a pill - Andriol wc replaces testosterone.

To manage our POT BELLY -

1.Lift Weights - need more muscle,the more calories will burn,even at rest.
2.Keep Metabolism Steady - eat smaller meals every 3 - 4 hrs to up metabolism & burn calories.
3.Eat smaller Dinners - try not to have heavy dinner as U are not active at nite.
4.Eat More Fibre - fill U up quickly & feel less hungry.More fruits & vegetable.
5.Stay Hydrated - drink not sugary,carbonated or flavoured drinks.
6.Having Adequate Sleep - can reduce body fats !

Will start my mission to "get rid of my Pot Belly asap & to get back in shape !!!"

-More studies have shown that the people with most BELLY FATS have the risk of life threatening disease liked Heart Disease / Diabetes & Cancer !!!

So any BROS with Beer Belly or Love Handles,please join in here & "attack those BELLY FATS asap !!!"....

+++++++++++ Sunday Morning RUN - 23/11/08 +++++++++++

Slept early last nite & determined to wake up at 6am to hit the running tracks nearby....So nice to enjoy the cool fresh morning air ! But when i ran my first round i could feel my "mini Pot Belly" jiggle up & down a bit ! ha ha !...But after few more rounds i felt that my case was not really that bad & probably if i can consistently have my morning runs & later add on GYM work outs,i should really lose some FATS !!!

And more important i need to cut down any "desserts & afternoon tea breaks"...that have really add several KGs !!! It's time to lose them & keep fit & healthy !!!

Running definitely help clear your mind & organise your thoughts better ! In the current financial crisis,it best NOT to have any medical problems as it'll be a expensive affair !!!

You are so right. Health and fitness adds a lot more to life.

I've been wanting to get back onto an exercise regime, but have been too lazy. I better get cracking. I was running quite a lot last year, and lost a lot of weight and felt great. Felt full of energy and clarity of mind.

Stopped running at the beginning of this year and the effects are showing. All that inactivity is making me feel lethargic and tired, and I've also gained weight. Damn, time to hit the tracks.

=> Yo BRO,let's do our best to encourage each other to shape up our fitness !!! Since i'm in my mid 40s i really need to manage my health well esp my cholesterol levels since i sometimes eat the "rich unhealthy food"....so need to take supplements & keep up my running & next add GYM !

Anyway running really give your legs more sexual power to bonk harder deeper !!!

For most guys, if you waist exceeds 90cm you are at greater risk for diseases associated with obesity.

Ladies is at 80cm.

Hate the idea that i have seen some guy's pot belly is so huge liked they are liked "pregnant" and they probably have a hard time looking down & wondering where their dickie is !

Once i saw these gal at Starbucks every time she move her pot belly will jiggle up & down,it's rather embarrasing for her !....

Think some of these people with huge pot belly probably is so used to their lifestyle or eating habits,it hard to give it up & they have no intentions to do "the battle of the budge !"....So much hassle to change their wardrobe again !....And rather worry & do health checks later & hope for the best !

Encourage all those uncles like me to keep fit...

Ah.. the folly of youth (and it's beauty)...hahahaa..
Still remember when I was younger, go cheong with those "uncles" (now I'm their age!) they say much watch out for this, and for that. When you young, bo chup lah, the body like can recover easily.

Then as age catch up, realize metabolic rate slow down; eyesight deteriorate, lie down wrongly watch tv; back also pain..etc..etc Best advice for those still young is try not too put on too much weight; once on, and get old, very very hard to lose the weight, esp the belly!

My own experience is I used to drink a lot (still drink lah..) but after drinking dunno why always want to makan supper. Teochew poriage, Prata, etc..etc. Like after KTV close, must go eat first, then go home sleep. I think this is the worst; eat liao then sleep; also it's one extra meal that the body doesn't need. Since I cut down this supper, managed not to put on too much weight.
Go jogging occasionally now and then, not so much to lose weight, but to try to keep the heart a little healthy.....

Ah... thinking back..when people ask me go exercise, keep healthy lifestyle.. I tell them I healthy cos always go health centres! hahahaaa

Think having regular Tea Breaks & Suppers actually will become a ( unhealthy ) habit or ritual that we "die-die" need the fix for our stomachs !!! And having supper is definitely worst because your stomach need to work "overtime" when you sleep !!!

My "incentives" now for doing morning runs or Gym is to "reward myself by bonking any SYTs as there are medical reports that commented SEX is good for the Heart !!!"......

=> According to Tufts University in Boston - "There's an almost correlation between Erectile Dysfunction ( ED ) and waist size !" - especially for Men over 40 with a 42" waists are almost twice as likely to have ED problems than man with sub 35" waists !....

So here's another important reason why we older guys need to "exercise & slim down if necessary !".....

It's true manz...

Gaining weight ( fats) is really a bad sign and it marks the start of a deteriorating health conditions.

Logic is that the body is not functioning "properly & efficiently" now ...

Therefore start to accumulate more and more fats everywhere!

With this happen....our male hormones would start to decrease too and somehow would affect the "quality" of our life.

Most importantly....Sex life would be greatly impacted too...ha..

Definitely it's worth spending some time retuning our lifestyle to a healthier one in order to enjoy more and longer...both in bed and out of bed!

I have been keeping fit too both for myself and my love ones....

Hope all bros here would also stick to a healthy lifestyle and enjoy a more fulfilling life and quality sex life till 80yo! HA

Another health news - "BEWARE THE BEER BELLY" - If U have a paunch,U have a higher chance of getting liver cancer !

Most Asians have a genetic inclination to store fat in the abdomen while the rest of theur bodies remain relatively normal sized.

For guys having Beer Belly - over 90cm in circumference & gals - over 80cm for gals.

If you have a Beer Belly,then yr body has a propensity for storing fat in yr central organs like yr liver wc amounts to "a constant attack on yr liver ! So in the long run,the fatty liver is more likely to be inflamed.It could then harden & deteriorate into liver cancer !"

Stay away from food filled with simple sugars liked soft drinks.
