Waked up about 0730. Accompany mummy to market to buy some weekly groceries. Couldn't resist a cup of strong kopi-o to kick start a beautiful day. While enjoying the kopi-o, the morning call SMS from May came in. I quickly return the morning greeting and confirm picking her up at 0930.

It was almost 0900 when we returned from the market. It is quite crowded on Saturday. Mommy was curious where I was going on Saturday, usually I dug in in my room for computer games. I informed mom that I am going out with Jason and Jasmine, the next comment I got from mommy was no surprise

Mommy: ask Jasmine to intro a nice girl to you, it's been such a long time since u dated. Your papa and I neck stretch long long waiting for our daughter-in-law to serve us tea.

Me: Mum ah, Aiyoh, good daughter-in-law dun drop from the skies or grow on trees, must wait for Yuan-Fen. I will try my best to find one in Orchard Road and bring one back today.

Mommy: you dun mouth flower flower, talk only no action. If u bring back a girl today, I will not nag on you anymore, and this is a promise.

Me: ok, onzzzz.

I left home and was at May's block at 0923. I texth her and inform her that I am downstairs.

May came with another SYT in toll. I realize that she must be her cousin, Amy or Amanda. I got out of the car to greet them.

May was dresses I white beggy blouse with Jeans, she looks different today. Than it strike me that she is not wearing her specs today and seems to have put on some light make up. She wears her hair naturally swaying as she walks. Her smile was intoxicating. I felt an electric bolt hit me. (till this day the image is still implanted deeply in my head), she indeed is beautiful. A 12/10 in my book. No wonder Jasmine says she has lots of suitors back home.

What her cousin wore or how she looks doesn't meant a thing or has any impact on me. I am so focus on may. The first words came from her cousin's mouth was "stop drooling" and they giggle.

Was I drooling. i dont believe so. but still my hand nearly automatic went to my mouth trying to wipe the drool away. it was dry.

i opened the door for May and politely ask her cousin to join us for breakfast. May told me that she is waiting for her angmo boy friend to pick her up. she merely accompany May to take a look at me, and to avoid any suspision from her parents that she is dating today. wah, she kill 2 stone with a bird. lol. We exchange some hello and shook our hands, wow! May's cousin has got a strong grip. she shoo us off and walk away, obviously she does not want anyone nearby to see her meeting an angmo.

the first thing i sat to May after getting into the car was: you are very beautiful today. i think people will stare at me in the restaurant.

May just smile happily and say thank you.

We proceeded to our 'Yum-Cha' destination. May seems to be happy with Dim Sum for breakfast, she place a few orders and tuck in happily, she did not put up a show to be "modest" and that is a good sign that she is not pretendious. I like that.

We ate and chatted without any barrier and did not pay attention to the time. its seems that the world has just passes by us and there is nothing gonna bother us, till her phone rang.

it was already 1115, Jasmine asking where we were. Have I already pick her up or I am still snoozing. May told her that we are on our way. Jasmine asked us to park on the 4th storey as they are already parked.

We hurrried ask for the bill and make a bee line to the carpark.
