What Ckee said is correct. I encounter a common experience even in SIN and HK. It's the basic need for a human interaction without necessarily being in a committed relationship. The lady need to feel she is a woman and needs an outlook. It is also the Sporeans who need to be more open and understand relationships too. Some are not as progressive enough for the ladies. But it does get better over time.
Oh one more thing....JUST enjoy the fun..their company. They like you....they give you without usually asking for much. And please....treat them like a lady. Not a toy to forget and go. Happy Cheonging guys!
