maybe because bangla can dance better than other races? or they are better at serenading and professing their love? anyway, being alone in a foreign place does make the heart yearn for any sort of care and concern.
my take is, the more repressive the employer, the more it will push the maid into committing activities that the employer detest. no maid in the right sane mind will jeopardize her work if the employer genuinely cares for her.
