Sometimes it takes more than 4 weeks, of weekends of patience, on a lucky day, to take the girl from her friends and go jalan jalan, hold hand and then proceed to kiss/hug and entice ..
and I am talking of comparatively easier girls, not the shy shy ones like you see around hdb block, but the type that approach guys in bar, join you for drink and easy to chat up ...

a beer can go a long way - and easier to flirt and chat up girls in bars - if you want to smoothen your way ..
Again - despite the harassing bar tender - DONT BUY A JUG OF BEER, if it is your first time - stick to a mug so you can recce other bars .. if one is slow ... a jug keeps you glued to one bar and by the time you figure your environs- you are tipsy .. and sometimes, you may have sudden friends helping themselves from your jug (Not being funny, but ever saw some ang moh also sudden become friend with some guy on his second jug, and decide to share the jug of beer of the total stranger .. )
