GL girls leave for good. They are here for a max of 2 years, and cannot come back to work as WL again.
Petain girls on the other hand, have licence to work indefinitely, but they are required to leave Sg for 1 month every 6 months. Dunno why this funny rule, but I guess this is to make it harder for them to have a long term relationship with guys here. Doesn't really make sense to me.
