Bro,
wif due respect where is the "speculation"?...
it is a fact that Benitez has spent 229m pounds on 76 players, too many of them mediocre/duds like Degen, Lucas, Dossena,Plessis, Sissoko, Morientes, Gonzalez, Voronin(well he was a freebie but still hv to pay his wages) etc...sold Bellamy, Crouch and Keane and released Hyppia leaving the Reds far weaker in both experience and leadership...
it is a fact that Benitez has made a serious transfer miscalculation this season...by buying GJ (although he is a good attacking wingback albeit a poor defender n not cheap) when it is clear that another quality striker was needed instead...also why buy an injured midfield player for a position required to be filled at the start of the season?...
it is a fact that Gerrad wld hv been the simple yet effective option of being played in midfield to cover Alonso's departure until Acquilani is fit...but no Benitez stubbornly sticks to fielding the limited Lucas who lacks even an ounce of creativity...
it is a fact that Benitez's handling of Babel has been awful...this a player he paid 11m pounds for...when not being played out of position, Babel is benched while his confidence is drained away, Lucas on the other hand has played in every one of the Reds' six defeats...in fact Benitez appeared to do the samething to Cisse when he was wif the Reds...
it is a fact that Benitez has had 5 seasons, regardless of the issues wif the Moore, Parry n the yanks...and the Reds look no where close to landing the EPL...heck they now even appear to be in danger of not securing a CL spot which shall spell even more doom n gloom in more ways than one...last season was probably Liverpool's best chance in along while to land the EPL n i blame Benitez's cautious scared to lose tactics in the first half of that season for the Reds failure to go all the way...the moment the Reds were allowed to play attacking football things changed...
sorry but Benitez appears to also be a structural/systemic problem apart fm the yanks...so both hv to go...the Reds need an entire new make up overhaul...both owner and manager...however i also think Benitez sld be allowed to stay on until at least the next transfer window for continuity and stability reasons...

Of course not. Half cooked journalists (and blinkered ex-players) can spin their own yarns and bring them out when the team is struggling. How convenient.
Of course you may still hold on to the same line. The problem with the Rafa regime is how it has divided the fans and ex-players. I'm fine with it. I'll just let the manager do his job the best he can.
