ya, me too in aug, also take bus from ho chi minh to da lat...took the bus around morning 8 something...reach there at 630pm....sit until back side pain...furthermore, all inside is ang mo...no local....only until the country side, then u see local boarding the bus....can see many plantations, water dams, etc...waterfalls, i think is along the way, but u have to make a left turn for it somehow along the main road of the country side...the bus i sit, had a minor accident at the hill side when it was raining....hit the other bus side mirror....well...damn heng, no landslide....
i stayed in the rose tulip hotel(something like that) during my stay in da lat...quite cold....at night
