Hi All,
Imagine my surprise when I logged onto the forum again this morning after a two-day absence and a two-page long reply from various members on eating places to bring the in-laws greeted me! This forum is touching.
Re: Talay Bangkok, I've been there before and it's a great place with fake pool, fake sand and everything - it's just opposite RCA too which is convenient when you drive (she does). But the food isn't fantastic and you're practically forced to eat while bending at a 90-degree angle because the tables are sooo low (trying to re-create the Koh Samui feel of having dinner on the beach, no doubt) and older folks would definitely have a problem enjoying their evening, no?
I've been to Blue Elephant too and it's a great place but pretty far from where we're heading out from.
Nathong sound like a great restaurant and I've heard good things about it before asking around in the forum (endorsed by Nic Cage himself!) but it seems like their website is down so I can't seem to preview how it looks like. The setting from the movie looks ok but of course they got the best seats and the best angles to take the dinner shot from.

Anyone knows where it is and how to get there?
Town in Town and Leelawadee sound like good options to explore - the former because of the extremely detailed directions (I can just print it out and go - thank you williamangkh!) and the latter not so "commercial".
Thank you again people.

P.S Boon Tong Kee sucks.
