Best rate I have seen in BKK so far and which is unmatched by any other banks or money changers in Singapore or BKK is from this money changer situated on sukhumvit soi 7/1. Door sign states XXX Travel Agency or something but dun worry they are an extremely large money changer in BKK and have been operating for the last 50+ years.
The entrance is at the side opp the subway restaurant. Do note one thing for this money changer, for SGD 50, they consider as small notes. SGD 1K note then they consider as large notes and for large notes, their exchange rates is really fantastic.
For example when I was there for business trip, ex-rate in Singapore was about 23.4, the ex-rate at the BKK money changer was about 23.42 but the ex-rate at this money changer was around 23.5 for small notes and 23.6 for large notes. I've had some instances whereby their ex-rate for large notes was 0.2+ higher than the best rate I could find at other money changers.
