To my knowledge, Somdej was only created somewhere back only a century plus ago by Somdej PhraBuddhacharnToh Promrangsi of Wat Rakang. Yes there is amulet being created somewhere 4 centuries but it is Phra Rod, Phra Krong, Phra Somkor etc.. Sukothai and Phra Chai during Ayuthuya period but not Somdej.
Secondly, She told you she can get you a JTK for $500, maybe you would like to ask her which temple the JTK is she getting for you and of which year, conserated by who? So far all JTK in BKK are going for maybe 400baht per piece and maybe 1800 baht i quote the most expensive for a set but not SIN$500 per piece. So far the most expensive JTK commanding in BKK and Singapore is JTK conserated by Acharn KhunPan in 2530 which is commanding at 80000 to 100000Baht. And JTK trend started only recently, and the 1st piece of JTK is conserated by Archarn Khunpan, at the moment, other than his, JTK Wat KoHong is commanding a good price. Hope you can get all sort out with your fortune teller and also you have not forsake the $500 yet. Cheers!

Thanks bro for the solid info. But it's not the thai lady that told me my somdej is 500 yrs old. Its a monk at the bedok thai temple. Any way, I told her not to bring for me the $500 JTK. Haha
