The SMS forwarding to me is like a tool that enables myself to broaden my horizon. For example, I tried it on another gal I got to know (by buying her a N73 of course), and the results have been great. There has been no cheating or talking ill behind my back and I can really relax with her and tell her my inner thoughts with no risks of her using them against me. One other piece of tidbit is that I can use it as a tool to help in the relationship.
For example, if she is moody and don't feel like talking, I got the reason from her SMS to her sister that her parents are quarreling at home and she feels bad and helpless. She even confides to her sis that she is afraid that if she gets married later, she will end up fighting and have history repeats itself.
Knowing all these info, I make it up to her by surprising her to a great dinner (a total surprise for her) with a prelude of flowers and later an evening walk along the beach and just tell her that no matter what happens, I will be with her, whether she is moody or happy. She was so touched that she opened up with her thoughts on her parents' fights (although I know it well before).
