1. Bros, just fucking doubt everything.
there are fake FRs. there can also be false claims of fake FRs. Both sides of an argument can be lying.

2. Trust your own knowledge but know the limits of your knowledge.
your own experiences are real. trust those. BUT.. they are limited by your ability to experience more. For e.g. you may be that 1 outlier while all other bros get awesome service.

3. Establish and re-establish your own truth.
Accumulate your own knowledge until you can form a trusted picture. Be ready to change your mental picture if you learn something that conflicts with what you already know. For e.g. one stable might be trusted now, but become less trustworthy over time. The reverse may occur too.

tl;dr: do your due d folks. A bit of Decartes in your life will help.
