aaah... u remembered the 2 goals by robbie fowler who pushed neville like a rag doll and insulted their supposed best goalie in the world with a cheeky chip ah??? bear in mind, the papers that week were all raving about gary neville being a first choice defender for england and can also cover as a centreback. well, fowler put all that into perspective...

then follow by Houllier..actually at the beginning i do see optimism... we won the incredible treble...of League, FA and UEFA cups... the next thing i know..i saw Owen and Company training at Bishan Stadium....

haha... managed to get an autograph with none other than fowler!!! yup, u guessed it right! i didnt even bother to watch manure on tv when they came over.

then... it was an incredible season led by Phil Thompson whereby Pool eclipse MU on the EPL...but eventually loose out to the gunners.... that season..we also make good progress in the CL..

so..to me ..even though Pool did not win the most converted trophy for the last 17 years...but these incidents does bring back good memories..off cse not forgeting Istanbul 2005.

i m actually sad to see phil thompson out... he breathes and lives liverpool and his passion can be seen evidently!!! pool needs that kind of passion, but alas i guess technically, he is perceived to be not that sound...

istanbul will live forever in our hearts!!! i sincerely felt that pool were lucky to win it, but luck will only favour those who still believe and work for it!!!

definitely..though i am not a stauch supporter of the blues..but whoever challenge Scums for the title..will get my support..i have been cheering for Blackburn in 94/95...Arsenal 97/98, 03/04 and lately ...chelski for the title....

Fergie..is a wily old fox... whoever he is challenging for title..he will try to 'gain' the support of other teams to go against them... by making comments such as other clubs..like Pool will want to see his bunch of scums winning the title instead of Chelski.. well when i read this... my reply is 'over my dead body... i will not want the group of bloody scums to win the title...'

dont care about being called a fool but let me say this again. i have said this before in this thread, i would rather wimbledon win the league rather than manure. i would rather everton won the league. i would rather sheffield united won last season rather than manure, even though i hate neil warnock.

i believe if Pool is making a strong challenge as the up-coming EPL Champion..he will sure make naive comments such as 'i believe my good freind Mourinhno will rather want my bunch of good-for-nothing scums winning the title..instead of Pool'...

guess newbies always get conned by the evil lau-jiaos what... after a while, jose will know and gang up with wenger...
