i cant be too sure about that when i witnessed his champs league final collapse. but then again, he should give the left midfield some options for rafa...

haha, used to have female colleagues joining me in pubs to watch redknapp, macca, collymore and calamity james in action. they were always raving about his good looks.

Recently, the proposal that the G14 teams (or something like dat) form another league was revisited. Under Platinit, this may become a reality and then we won't see Pools in EPL anymore. Now that is not very good. Sometimes it is just plain fun to see the big teams trashing the smaller ones.

hmmm, i always thought UEFA was against this cos it would virtually render the champs league useless... maybe i m wrong...

I always do that to my subordinates, ie, dun praise them enuf and keep pushing them. It runs against some modern management concept of "giving praise to get the performance". But alas, like wat bro AXL said, it is like old school, and it doesn't always work. I can certainly attest to that cos some of my guys hate me for it. Let's hope Stevie dun get too affected negatively by all these.

all the best to u. for me, i will just try to find out what suits my guys more and try to bring the best out of them.

Also brought into the equation was the fact that Rovers were now managed by former Reds manager and the man who took Redders to Anfield, Kenny Dalglish, . Blackburn took the lead through a Alan Shearer strike but John Barnes equalised in the 64th minute to put the title back in the balance. With the game looking set for a 1-1 draw Liverpool won a last minute free kick just outside the left edge of the Rovers penalty area. Up stepped Redknapp, who remained the ultimate professional, to score directly from the kick. The Rovers and Liverpool fans were silent as they knew it was the winner and no one wanted to celebrate the goal that would win United the title. However, just 30 seconds later news filtered through that United had only managed a 1-1 draw in the Capital which was not enough to overturn the 2 point deficit, the crowd erupted with both sets of fans celebrating and singing the Man United song 'Always look on the bright side of life.'

haha, still remember the freekick scored by redknapp in injury time. but then, i thought the score was 3-1 in favour to liverpool. again, i m relying on my memory, so i might be wrong again. but before the game, i was actually torn between wanting liverpool winning the game but letting manure have the chance to take the title then. well, like what they said, all well that ends well...
