Often, besides dealing with the technical IT stuffs, my job involves advising clients (most times MNCs) on Org Structure / re-structuring, ways to carry out business / business processes / transactions, etc etc.

No prizes 4 the correct guess, many MNCs across many industries were advised by such Consultants to relocate their ops outta SG, whether it's going to Msia, Indo, China, Vietnam, etc etc. Mainly cos of lower costs of land & operations (salaries, utilities, etc).

The other reason I got so many offers is cos I'm quite senior in the industry, many end clients wanna employ me directly rather than engaging me through Consulting firms. It's cheaper for them in tat way. And, when I join them, I'll be working for them & taking sides wif them, taking care of their "welfare" in projects which engage Consultants. So when the Consultants are not competent enuf / try 2 screw around, they'll sure get it from me! Tat'll kinda ensure tat they get good quality / standard Consultants, & keep these Consultants on their toes, bringing in more value for the company / end client!
