GERRARD GETS ONE OVER BARCA STAR

Steven Gerrard has seen off stiff competition from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to make it into the uefa.com Team of the Year.
The Liverpool skipper was voted Europe's best right-winger by football fans across the continent.
Almost four million votes were cast by uefa.com users, with three Premiership stars making the final cut.

Well done for everyone who voted, he to rightly deserved that crown as the best right mid last year in europe. Shame he wasn't able to be voteable in central midfield but still well deserved
