A manager is merely doing his job ... by recognising when the sell-by-date is. Well, that's what they call professionalism.
For Dudek's case, letting in 9 goals in 2 matches & holding the worst Anfield record since the war is not going to do his confidence any good ... for a goalkeeper, that's everything. So, he will hafta go ... sooner or later.

Pepe has said, along with Crouch, that he has no immeidate intention to leave the club.
Padelli only represents the future ... after all, he's not even played at the highest level back in Italy.
Even if we get Buffon, I'm not sure he won't get a culture shock on what the little tricks referees allow against the goalies ... the number of high balls a continental keeper has to handle in EPL is another thing they need to overcome too.
So, who do we have to take over from Dudek?? Well, remember Scott Carson?? He's still on our books ...
