Apart from Mane, I really hope to see Wjnaldum shine. So too Coutinho and Firmino who both blew hot and cold too often last season. Need to see consistency from these chaps and the rest of the squad as well.
Immediate cause for concern now is LB and perhaps DM?

There’s the usual suspects like Zlatan and Pogba - but the outsider for me who I think will have a good season is Sadio Mane at Liverpool.
I want to see how he is going to do and with the way Liverpool play I think he could have a very good season and be a crowd favourite.
In short, Liverpool’s top four hopes last season were hit by two things (according to this):
Sturridge injuries
Mignolet in goal
Have the Reds rectified these two issues? And what about the transfers, both in and out?
It’s well worth a read, and the signs bode well, as this little snapshot proves:
The basic underlying metrics last season were promising:
Shots On Target For – 4th
Shots On Target Against – 4th
Shots On Target Ratio – 3rd
Shots in the Box Ratio – 3rd
Passes into the Box Ratio – 2nd
Klopp has a full pre-season of preparation under his belt, so the gegenpressing should be in full swing come the start of the season. The focus on denying opponents time on the ball as both a defensive and attacking option has been noticeable in preseason, with two goals against Barcelona coming from quick breaks after a successful duel in midfield.
