The result of your cynicism is exactly why PAP must be remove as government for a few terms. This is the result of extreme power concentrated in extreme hands for too long.

Without humans constantly bridging the gap of rich vs poor, fair vs unfairness, the world will be a Wild Wild West.

You will not want to go back to the extreme days of Industrial Revolution.
What is the objectives of having social policy or regulations or having polīce? Whose needs do they need to serve? Have their needs being served in the most equitable and fair way??? For example, every one must eat Chicken rice but not everyone can afford to eat Chicken rice at Chatterbox.

Every society has the rich and also the poor.... Unless you want to live in a true blue Communiist world. Even Russia and China has billionaires and tons of poor folks. Issue here is does the poor really want to help themselves to get out of their own poor situations??? How much can Govt or NGO or Social policies bridge this poor and rich gap? You yourself know it jolly well yourself...

In general, why keep on complaining and whining about how unfair, how screw up and etc etc about our society?? Either you change the system or change the way you view the system..
