Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Two things sadly came to mind when I looked at the latest EPL results and table this morning.

1. If Liverpool still had Suarez, Sterling and a fit Sturridge, we probably would win the EPL this season with Brendan still in place being hailed as a great young manager!!

2. The £200m plus that Liverpool had spent on players over the last two seasons has been an absolute shocking waste of money!! All those still at Liverpool who are responsible for this terrible mess should be given the sack.

Back to this season. Let's just accept the hard painful reality that its going to be another transition one. If we get a top 4 finish well and good but let's not get our expectations up too much anymore as it looks more and more like a very long shot now.

And if we can't get a top 4 finish I rather we end mid table, let Klopp fully concentrate on the EPL next season and not get distracted by useless Thursday night European football. That is why I ain't too bothered about League and FA Cups. Although its always nice to win a cup but want to win a cup then let's try our very best to win the Europa League instead for obvious reasons.

Oh yes, I don't think the club is going to spend much during this winter transfer window because the best players are probably not available. So no point getting our expectations up on this front either. The clear out and hopefully wise astute purchases shall probably take place over the summer, with Klopp finally getting to stamp his own mark on a Liverpool team.
