I did question both my bookie and the Ah Gua manager Pon why I have to pay 2 different rates? The replies from both were consistent. When I come with bookie friend.... I pay Thailand rate. And when I come on my own..... I pay outsider rate. Btw, Pon is always the one attending to me as he doubles as my bookie's agent if the guy is not around.
