I've been having back problem for awhile and have done my mri scan.
The result shown of degeneration and bulging of disc at L4-5 , L5-S1.

The thing was I had only mention this back problem to my specialist and not my constsnt shoulder pain and neck pain.

Okay my question is , is my disc condition on my lower back that's giving me problem of constant shoulder pain? My next appointment with specialist is three month later . I've been having this shoulder pain problem for as long as I could remember I am serving NS right now I always thought the problem was because of the constsnt heavy load I am carrying and it's normal . But till recently it's getting out of control .

What test should I go ? To determine if my lower disc is giving me problem or my neck disc ? I only done mri for lower back , should I do a mri for my neck ? Please advise thanks
Hi TS,

if the pain is out of control, and you are unable to wait for 3 months for the specialist, do make an appointment with a private doctor to get a consultation.

Back issues can be both big and small, and when big it will affect many areas of daily activity including the most important one around here, sexual intercourse.

If you are worry about the costs of it, make sure you give your insurance a call. Most insuraces these days if you are covered well will pay almost all of the costs provided that procedure requires hospitalization.

Dont delay treatment as there is always a risk of it getting worst.

Just my opinion.
