No need to see such things really happen or not.
All along the useless Thai police have been doing this on road blocks.
That's why I always bring my passport with me when I travel outside Singapore.
Please don't think your pink IC is damn big f*ck in overseas.
If they want to they'll play technical discrepancies with you even if you've a passport photocopy.
As foreigners we're already on the losing end when we're on their turf.
Don't let them have an excuse to entrap you.
