Liverpool owner John Henry has confirmed that the English Premier League's top scorer Luis Suarez did have a £40m buy-out clause in his previous contract.

He shared that Liverpool did not want to sell Fernando Torres but we were forced to and the Spanish forward sealed a move to Chelsea for a British record transfer fee of £50m in January 2011.
