I have been to PIMP a few months back and I am in total agreement. the place just didn't has the atmosphere and vibe I expect from Thai entertainment joints such as Monte Carlo or Sherbet. It feels more like a high-end Asianised gogobars. The club focus less on live entertainment and the carnival feel of other Gclubs and more on the wet, wild and wicked, "anything goes out in the open" arrangement. the sleaze factor is high but there is nothing essentially wrong with that as it is just filling a niche that apparently seem to be increasing in appeal. I also noticed that the majority of customers are foreigners and/or tourists as opposed to the comparatively larger Thai clientele in other Gclubs.
