Re: question about PR

They could be married, or divorced. Or even gotten PR on their own merit, which presumably is unlikely.

PR is permanent, it is the Rentry Permit that needs renewing. Once somebody has PR, even if they get divorced, or no longer qualify for PR, they are still legally allowed to live in Singapore till the day they die as long as they never leave Singapore.

It is leaving the country that poses a problem if they no longer qualify (in ICA’s eyes) for a re-entry permit.

unless 1s committed a "immense" offence & it went viral under general public pressure, authorities can hv the status revoke, remember 杨寅?

I guess 54 yrs we came Malaysian ladies has the biggest % who got PR. Many did not married local man rather worked at SME. Become the boss number 2 wife, and he being dumb spend tons of $ on her. In the extent in telling lie to ICA.

His "admin" employee is his MD. Of course ICA will grant her PR because she is "rich". Seriously observe Malaysian girls in Spore. They are a force to be reckon with.

Another thing to observe my friends. My records shown back into the 1999 I worked for a "class 1 enterprise". That was HKG TVB of course back then was video tapes. Seniors will remember this.

The MD who was Richard Yong, former chairman of NKF who was jailed yrs later. No, nothing about him just introduction of him. He said there were alot of video shops with ladies boss. They were from Malaysia and, bao by rich man. 20 yrs later I guess these ladies were at least PR.

Did this shits stop? I think it continued. We look carefully we see Thai, PRC and Piony lady boss too.
