Marrying a FL or so...

Hi bro, I suppose some of the bro here have married WL or FL...

just want to know how much $$ involved to marry a FL, she came for 4 months and going back next month... she has not caught by AV (thanks god!) and we hit quite well... and she remind me of someone...

Actually, I rather we remain the same relationship now...

But, dun want to see her walk in the street as FL as I know her story and juz happen to know her family too... home in rural area... bad condition... child 5 years old nid $ for schooling and divorced her good for nothing husband who want drink, beat her up and even ask her to serve customers (his friends)...
she did work in the factory before... but I believe most of us have read the news... most factory worker got S$20/day only...

I really dun mind marrying her to let her stay in sg and do whatever she want at least legally... and get her child here to study too... I have totally no commitment for anything presently...

So... how much $ and what I shld do ... totally no idea... thanks.

But they will never encourage ppl to go casino everyday and gamble all their own hard-earned money away and turn their own life upside down. .....



Somehow some of them did manage to make their living with gambling, nevertheless the success rate is extremely low :eek:

i m one who has married a PRC ex-fl for coming to 2 years now (know her of 2 years before marriage) n living happily together with a daughter from her previous marriage.

but in the first place, has she accepted you yet? i think if she truly loves u, she will probably reject u (anyway not until u tried very, very, very hard) as she have good reasons to do so.

for me financially wise it is ok already, as my wife does not any financial burden at home and she is considered to be very thrifty, but there are some hidden costs to take note though, examples are costs of travelling back to china n education costs for her child n increasing costs of living. I don't know how to put down a figure, it really depends on the gal, whether she is spend-thrift or not.

i believe (my wife too) that there is always a way of living no matter what the household income is. however, don't forget that for u, her child is not here yet, to get her and the child here, it may already cost a bomb.

but i think the financial burden is not as great as compared to the emotional ones that i went through, if u don't hv what it takes, would advise u not to pursue this type of relationship (even if u two truly loves each other).

Knowing how bad her family condition is back in China is not a reason for marrying her at all. Do you really love her and does she love you? Pls get this resolved before you even consider doing anything further.

Cost wise, it really depends on what type of living standard you are aiming for. But if you are talking about bringing her and her child over, applying for LTVP, ROM and wedding dinner, then it will probably be less than 100K.

Bro, I think you are rushing in too fast just to get married. You don't really know who she is... My senior in army used to date a Thai too, almost got married. He went to meet her parents, discuss wedding etc.
When almost seal the deal, he found out she is dating someone else behind his back.
Sucks! She was only acting for the money!

Of course this is an isolated case, still, some pondering is required too!

don't rush head over heels into marriage...date her for a year first and observe, for all you know, she could be hiding under a pack of lies.
time will tell eventually does she really love you.
just be sincere with her at the moment, sincerity is a powerful way of dissecting a person to his/her very core character.
