MBS = Bankruptcy

Hi all bro and sis out there. Sorry to post this thread over here cuz duno where to post le.. dun minus my point pls... just want to share my own si bei jialat experience

Anybody here frequent casino? MBS, RWS or even overseas one..

I started to frequent MBS during 2011.. that was the start of a horrible and painful life!! I was married that year and to be very frank, Singapore got no where better to go.. so there was this fateful nite i jio my wife to go MBS to see and experience.. She was reluctant at first but we eventually went there..

We stay for a good 12 hrs there playing the 3 picture game.. Guess what? We never win and in the end loss about $800...

Re: MBS = Bankruptcy

The next day we paid another $100 levy each and fight again.. This time we won $1000 plus on top of the $800 we lost.. This is the start of the nightmare...

From then on, we started to visit MBS every weekend.. and our saving starts to get lesser and lesser... until i resort to cash advance from CC and taking up loans from bank just to feed my addiction to gambling.. I was working in a govenment sector and i am suppose to declare if im in debts which i didnt do so..

Goverment people is so clever they can track everything out of you.. Not surprisingly, they ask me to send them my credit repot and i decline.. not long after, i was terminated disgracfully.. i do not want to elaborate much on this.. By the time i was terminated, i have spent around 2 years fighting with MBS chalking up debts of near to 100k..

I am paying minimum every month.. but the debts still stays the same with the interest chalking up every month.. soon i began to receive lawyer letters.
The bank will call up every single day to ask mi for paymentand threaten to sue me bankrupt..

i went to credit council.. One hope.. nothing works.. at that point of time i just hope someone can lend me a lump sum to settle off my debts. But that is just wishful thinking.. In the end i self apply bankruptcy. Guess what i need to pay $1800 to apply for self bankruptcy! what a joke!!

the only way to make money from a casino is to own one ... stanley ho

Re: MBS = Bankruptcy

Apart from the $1800, there are still alot of fees to be paid accumulating up to 1k plus.. damn nonsense.. but then luckily im not a bankrupt now. I was refer to another repayment plan. i have since exclude myself from IR.

The whole purpose of this thread is to warn others not to even step in any of the casinos. Not to borrow from legal/illegal money lenders! which luckily i never.

But interesting thing is that, for the 2 yrs when im involve in this stupid situation, my sex drive super low because of all the stress.. now that i have recover.. hahaha..

Anyone who have problem with gambling addiction and in debts can ask me for advice on the repayment plan.. Gambling will not settle any problem..

bro, its good that you know how to put a stop to the end, $$$ can be earn as long as u still have your family around. if you want to repay fast i would request you to go drive part time taxi. i calculated if i drive daily 6-7 hour + my full time job. i can hit about 5k++ at least per month. debt can be slowly clear no worry on that. i hope you dont step in any more, for leisure yes but long term no.

during this few year i step in to RWS 4-5 time and MBS once. i only won once at MBS about 2k. so you can see that % winning is low.

greediness will make us lose in long term.

Bro coldblood,

I exclude lo... want to go also cannot go.. everytime i went in is to tell myseld to win and pay debts.. but that will never work. I won 10k once in the stupid texas holdem and i lost back immediately.

I going to register for taxi liscense. can kill time and earn money. Scully chance upon lady luck?! hahahaha..

Anyway bottomline is gambling will not work. And it is never too late to stop!
I also stop soccer betting. done that in my very young days.. also the same.. lose until take off shorts.

better dont step in again. banker in long term will have profit, if you want win is only short time, win then run, cannot bet for long term.

ofcause gambling will not work.

soccer wise still can win if you can control, analysis, check histroy and do your home work.

if you can quit gambling which is good.

there is a 100% winning strategy which is "Dont bet = winning".

ofcause i myself also cant quit on soccer :D

for sure whack man u this week to win some kopi $$$. $50 enough :D

I stepped in once to MBS many moons ago when she just open with the idea to @@. Before i go in, i left all my cards at home with 400 in wallet and a MRT card. I tell my self, go in @@ and try luck a bit. End up, i pay the 100 entrance, lost the 300 in 30 min time and never went in ever.

I find this aspect of your writing rather interesting, if it is indeed true.

My question. Where is the line drawn when it comes to privacy ?

Pierre.

If you are in the government sector, you will know what i mean. Even onlin gambling they will find out. There is no privacy! you will need to declare every single shit.

After the 2 years playing with fire in MBS, i saw alot of things and know alot of people. There is this guy who are left with his $300 playing Stud Poker. he wanted to leave the table but the guy sitting beside him telling him to play one last hand. He stay on and he got a royal flush. The jackpot money was around 1mil.

Should he decided to leave and not play, the guy who tell him to stay will get the royal flush himself. The guy who strike jackpot gave him around 10k to thank him. Now the jackpot winner with his wife is always seen around in MBS holding a glass of wine. This is luck. But seriously i think he lost back his winning if he continues..

Easy come, easy go.....

Best don't gamble......

If you lost $200 you start to get upset and leave.... it is a good sign you are not addicted to gambling....

If you always gamble util you lost every cents or when you sleepy.... meant you are addicted to gambling ...... so sad.

Started this thread in the hope to advice those currently still in debts and yet still gamble in the hope of winning back the money to stop all these.

Even if you are 100k in debts now, there is still ways and means to settle. Don't go to Legal/Illegal loanshark!

I believe you will win only when you are confident and a big gold mountain like ah lim. Dont bother to gamble in anything when ur in debts. it will only becum worse. When you are in debts, you becum worry, scare and depress.. Sure LOSE!!

Agreed, I was once similar to your situation. Visited 2 IR & lost almost 10K within a month. We sometime do not know how to withdraw our self after winning, thinking since we have already paid the 100 levy so will try to full utilize the 24hrs timing as much as possible but for sure the longer time you stay inside, the higher you will be losing in the end

Worst still, if you win on 1st round, you will have more urge to go again, thinking luck are always with you, u will definitely win more, these are human nature-greed which we need many determination to overcome & for sure your re-visit will likely end up with these faces:confused::(

Is only at this desperate stage, many would asked why he didn't insist to abolish the casino idea. Bringing hell closer to many door steps. Sad..

Hell's door is always open. We hv to make a conscious decision whether we wanna walk in or not for no one or nothing can force us to walk in if we choose not to. Curiosity kills the cat!

We knew this willing and turn away options. Think of it, if hell's door is not opened near you, what's the chances of many non gamblers becoming one? Does this easy accesssability contributed to this evil deed. I'm speaking of real life story.

At the end of the day, do we blame this blame that for things that we WILLINGLY do?
I hv yet to enter MBS till this day & I personally know many who hv not. I too am sure many bros here also hv not even stepped into the place. Drive by all the time. So who do I blame for not being keen on walking in?
There are many forms of addiction in life. Yes, there's a price to pay for any addiction. At the end of the day, whether one goes back or totally kick the addiction, is also the person's WILL POWER at work. Not because that Hell's Gate was near to him/her.

We are not playing the blame game here. But stating how risky this 'sad opportunity' given to addicts suffered huge losses and non-gambler closer chance to becoming one. Will power is easy applied when you and me are not an gambling addict. But when you bring the casinos nearer to the addicts, is all hell break loose for them. The easy accessibility to opened hell's gate is just too hard to resist for many addicts. I know many cases stopped going to the casinos not becos of their will power but utterly broke. And from non gambler becoming one simply becos of curiosity. When many casinos had been around in the region for years, you don't see them curious about gambling.
TS's case proved my point. And is one case too many.

Re: MBS = Bankruptcy

My thoughts .......................

The gambling known as business looks with austere disfavor upon the business known as gambling.

Sports and gaming, whether pursued from a desire of gain or love of pleasure, are as ruinous to the temper and disposition of the party
addicted to them, as they are to his fame and fortune.

Games of chance are traps to catch school boy novices and gaping country squires, who begin with a guinea and end with a mortgage.

Bets at first were fool-traps, where the wise like spiders lay in ambush for the flies.

The pain of losing is always diverting, so is the thrill of winning.

The loser, in hopes of retrieving past misfortunes, goes on from bad to worse, till, grown desperate, he pushes at everything and loses his all.

If want to WIN you got to know when to hold them know when to fold them know when to walk away know when to run know when to return.

In gambling the many must lose in order that the few may WIN!
