if you are single, i don't think there's anything wrong. just got to be safe though.

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
Please do not bring in 'religion' to discuss sex. Prostitutes are just workers in the sex line, doing business, just like any other shops selling any items. If the demand is there, the supply will have to meet the demand. It is purely a business deal, if emotions are involved, it'll becomes a little complicated and followed by BG r/s. So is going into a shop to buy something a sin or not, please ponder.....
Why some people think that it is a sin, morality comes into the picture. Married and with a happy family, enjoyable sex life, then visiting prostitute, FB, FL, or even extramarital affairs will cause a sense of guilt leading to sinfulness. Is it a sin or not a sin?:) |
Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
Haiyah if u have religion it is..than again better than you rape someone right?

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
the thing is everytime i go pray, i feel q remorseful. its like i feel im a hypocrite, though i didnt pray to atone my 'sins'. its q an internal struggle to me sometimes, coz i feel im single and didnt let anyone down, however if i rly tink im 'morally upright', den i would have confessed such activities to the ppl i know which i didnt. That means somewhere deep down in me, i know its still not 'morally correct'? haiz sian...

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
Visiting a prostitute or letting your inner beast gets the better of you if there is no prostitute and aiming innocent girls,I think former is definitely the much lesser of the 2 evils.

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
If a society wants a high crime rate of rapes, they can outlaw this trade. This is the most basic of any animals, to repoduce.

If visiting prostitutes is a sin then I could easily also say that surfing pornography and PCCing is also a sin.. If you have a family or a girlfriend then of course it is a different story But most of my friends think otherwise of course... |
Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
Sin only exists in religion.
If you're an atheist, you do not believe in a divine power, religion doesn't enter the equation. Therefore it isn't a sin. However if you are religious, there's no debate. Unless your religious beliefs are part time? |
Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
I don't think sex itself is a sin, we humans have animalistic brains. animals do it, we do it.
You feel guilt because probably it's due to the restrictions imposed upon you by your religion. Like the bro above said, if you're an atheist, then it doesn't enter the equation. |

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
it is not sin but a responsibility to your partner thus pls be safe and use condom...

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
Whether its a sin or not depends on whether you have the intention to cause harm or if the act actually harms someone directly or indirectly. In my humble opinion; if you bring STD home and infect others, then you've sinned. If you patronized a prostitute forced either by criminal force or circumstances into receiving clients then you've sinned. If you visited the prostitute with the intention of abusing her/him then you've sinned. If the visitation causes your partner/family to be hurt emotionally/financially then you've sinned.
Hence prostitution is usually deemed sinful because all and more than the above mentioned situations are frequently encountered. However in its defense I think its like any other trade. Also it's existence provides a physical & emotional outlet for excess sexual energies/tensions. Civilization can only do so much to temper the beasts within ourselves. It's a constant struggle against lust and I salute those with enough will to muster and subdue their primal urges. For myself I try my best at protecting myself and the WL both physically and emotionally- always using condoms. Taking regular checkups helps much and during times when I have a partner I'll abstain. As a cheongster I keep a low profile and play alone, I've set in place rules that include 1)no more RTF on signs of KC 2)no local FLs 3)never reveal my real name 4)cheong on my own terms and needs 5)do not exceed the budget 6)if the girl is suspicious eg bad smell, has red spots, looks too young, looks abused etc reject on the spot.7)stay sober when cheonging. Mitigate the risks and you'll realize that prostitution is in fact cleaner, more efficient and less damaging than going for ONS. |
Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
It really depends whether you are a believer in a religion or not. For me, it is a job, although a non-conventional one. That being said, anyone who visits prostitutes and FLs still have to have morals; no abusing them etc. :)

Re: Is visiting prostitutes a sin?
It depends on the purpose of the visit, no?
