Dear Admin, can you make this a sticky, in view of news of 2 samsters who have contracted HIV in the last 3 weeks, I think HIV awareness is very important, I remember one samster told mi " AI CHU LAI SHENG LE MAI KIA SEE" means dare to play dun scared die. But this kinda of thinking is wrong and sadly this bro tested positive. We should post info abt HIV screening so bros know where to have theirs done.

1 month after exposure... 50% accuraccy
3 months after exposure.... 99% accuraccy
6 months after exposure.... 99.9% accuraccy

For those 3 samsters that claim they kenna dunno if true or not... but as usual please take precautions, wear a cap and ensure no cuts on ur body... wearing a cap cuts the risk down to almost 0% and at least you have a piece of mind. If all of u so interested in feeling, u can try okamoto condoms, they are damned thin and give sensation. As usual one wrong step and you all fall down the cliff no climbing up again. Lastly can sammy make this a sticky. If MrDevil's adverts can be a sticky. I think this thread is much more important.

To individual, Condoms cover away the risk of 99.8% from contracting with HIV and STDs Virus during sexual intercourse. Meanwhile, Scientists and Doctors have been doing alot of research in improving the Quality of Condom. Eventually the purpose of the research is to protect people from contracting STDs and Birth control issue.

Why are we refrain from using condom? Since commercial sex do contain some risk factors on STDs ?

Apparently, HIV is tranmitted by blood tranfusion. Mean, you can be affected by HIV if unprotected sex is been practise or anything deal with Blood to Blood contact.

Why should you take the risk ?

Condom isn't 100% safe, but is 99.8% safeguard. 00.2% is the risk you have to take. Think wise about the risk of unprotected sexual behaviour.

STDs can be spread by Oral Sex too. Including, Herpes Sore 1 and 2, Claps, Clay, Scraps and HIVs ( With complications ).

Example for Oral sex : Licking Vagina during oral sex, is a common practise. Well, do remember, female do have discharge. It's contain some virus too.

In research Vagina is more hygiene than mouth. However, the research does not consist of people who have suffer from STDs.

You can't tell who has HIVs and STDs. Do practise Safe Sex.

Advise to regulars on commercial sex.

An update of your own medical blood test is a must. Majority Of the STDs can be treat or cure, if discover early. Except, HIV.

Hi bro:

You should add that the HIV I/II virus is also present in high enough numbers in vaginal fluid and semen for transmission. It's also present in saliva too but there have been no conclusive, reported cases of transmission via oral sex from the one giving oral sex to the one getting oral sex.

Kissing, don't spread HIV. Perhaps you're refering to French kissing. well, is really subjective to how the frenching kiss goes by. Probably sailva don't really affect much. If the girl having Ucler or Gum bleeding, The risk of transmitting for HIV virus to you may increase.

Female's fluid from vagina do have the chance in spreading the HIV.
Male's fluid from penis (pre mature ejaculation) do have the risk of spreading HIV either

I wasn't referring to kissing. More about the case of BBBJ. But yup, with the saliva: not that many copies of the HIV virus in saliva; it is said that saliva has an inhibiting effect (not conclusively proven from what I've read so far) on the HIV virus.

True about the ulcer or gum bleeding--both mean openings into the body's system (or blood stream), or in the case of an HIV infected body giving BBBJ bleeding or releasing internal fluids onto the dick of the body getting the BBBJ.

Agreed about: vaginal fluid and semen. Thanks for also bringing up the preejaculate, though.

There is a rather simple way to go about making sure the WL you are bonking isn't HIV positive. Or at the very least, a good chance she won't be transmitting to you.

It is always good to have a general reminder again and again! People who borned with guts will never force a tear unless he suffered the worst. Most people are sensible enough what they are doing, however the result turned sour when the passion of sex flooded through the whole wimp brain.

This is very sensible advice and very helpful indeed.

I really applaud bro bongster and all who take the threat of HIV/AIDS and STDs seriously. In this time and age, only fools who do not value their lives will want to do commercial sex raw.. or even casual sex with people they just met.

Those who do cheong should go for a test.. it is scary.. I know, trust me cos I went.. but necessary. Think of the stigma related to HIV... people will shun you if you are infected.. it is a fact. Perhaps only loved ones who are well-informed of the disease will know how to care for you. But do you want that end result to happen? The costs of medication will kill your bank account.. and wipe all your families savings dry.. provided they still want to be around you.

And let's not forget some STDs that are not curable.. genital herpes will give you cold sores.. .on your lips.. and there is no cure. So bros and all.. please take precautions... the condom is not 100% safe.. but better be a little safe then be sorry for a lifetime.

Just a question Bongster. You said the accuracy of the test when taken one month after exposure will be 50%. How about those taking the HIV test within an even shorter timeframe?

Like 2 weeks after exposure, what will the percentage accuracy be like? Or should one just wait it out even longer?

1. How much for checking, one of the bro mention $20 and when can bro know the result? or do they have express result in less then 1 hr? if hv how much does it cost?

2. How did they do during the checking? blood test? what kind of question will they ask?

bro cybron, r u referring to the test by afa,(action for aids)? the test only required a few drops of blood to the paper test slip. result will out within 20 to 30 minutes. they will ask u question like what kind of sex u have encounted before they do the blood test. bro, just bring in some courage and go for the test after 3 months of ur last sex encounted. nice day

Bro shorter timeframe the antibodies might be undetectable... min is 1 mth at least... 3 months is for definitive... but do read up on th ARS... which are the symptons like fever, etc... www.thebody.com do a search there

Bro,

Cold Sore is different from STDs. It is a common virus which is hidden in most of us. I have posted it before in another thread sometimes ago. It's just that very seldom it will start to formed unless your immune system grows weak or you have lesser rest on that particular period. It also occurs to small kids as well.

Oh really? Hmm.. must have been ill-informed by an ad on tv about treating cold sores for genetal herpes and even a nurse once told me genetal herpes patients will get cold sores abour their mouth areas more easily than others...? Let me check. Do u noe of any sites that offer good medical advice?

Guys i just went to DSC clinic. They as me for my IC leh. Can Anyone confirm that the test there are annoymous and will not be released to the government or anyone else
