besides dsc there are a few clinics island wide that also offer anonymous testing, you just fill up a form no names or id required...just have to pay a fee..i think market rate now go up not sure..

I saw dsc recommend making appt before going, but I think to make appt u need to provide personal information name nric number? Then it does not seems anonymous?

Just wanted to share that nowadays there are HIV self-test kits that don't require the drawing of blood, only need to swab saliva. Results in about 20 - 30 mins. Accuracy is respectable: low false positive and low false negative rates. Cost-wise economical compared to attending a clinic consultation.

There are avenues in SG that sell these self-test kits like off-the-shelf products. Don't have to divulge personal information. Don't have to see a doctor/pharmacist before buying one.

Came to know of this when I spoke to the people at a HIV booth manned by a HIV awareness and prevention organization. Just nice they were selling these kits, and they also brought in their mobile HIV testing van that does the HIV test which requires blood sample. Bought a self-test kit to try try at home – negative result – good.

I bought this, from NSC, delivered to home. Sadly, delivery is their own fleet, so a bit expensive. Mine was negative, maybe also because I'm a "new player" entering the dark side.
