Words of wisdom indeed. Exactly how I feel too. That's why my buddies come almost monthly. Some even come twice a month. Already looking forward to our trip in August.

Haven't really been much to Bangkok post covid. But base on past experience, I guess the traffic in Pattaya is already less congested compare to Bangkok.
Bar prices from what I gathered from friends that recently visited Bangkok, also much more higher than Pattaya.
In terms of girls quality, very subjective. One man's meat another men's poison. But I believe there will be gem in both places.
I probably will be happy to stay put in Pattaya now. Or at least venture up northeast to explore.

July, first time to Pattaya, after some research decided to just do soi 6 since the other options dont seem too tempting.

Was there at around 10 got pulled in after a few metres into the soi. Had 1 drink and 1LD, asked and got quoted 800BF 3k LT. Seems reasonable so I agreed and she seemed surprised and super happy. Stayed till 1pm the next day, tons of GFE.

2nd night saw her and cant help myself went support her again, 4LD then 800 BF eventually, didnt nego the LT though. Come 1pm I tried to give 3k she rejected say no need (wtf? still stuffed her 2k)

3rd night started the soi from the other side to have an actual experience. Didnt really have fun after 3-4 bars so go find her again lol. After 1 LD she want to go for mookata. 800 BF, 1.3k for the mookata, 0 for the LT.

For Soi 6 girl to stay with you until 1pm, very likely she likes you. Most girls will stay until 9-10am. Some might even be earlier.

How do you guys go to Pattaya? Bangkok then take bus / taxi there? 1.5 hours right? How many nights in Pattaya you recommend? My first trip

Yes bus/taxi from bkk airport. 3 nights minimum i think but you should stay as long as you usually do, bkk is just a short journey away if you really don’t like Pattaya. Plenty of people stay for a week or more, some angmos spend their winter here…

Thanks bro. Saw taxi 1300-1500 baht. Bus only 143 baht? Anyone took the bus before? Same travel except probably need a taxi from bus terminal at Pattaya

Upon reaching Pattaya the 143baht bus will stop at a few stops before it reaches its destination at Jom Tien bus station. You can choose to alight at any stops depending on which part of Pattaya you staying. But if you are doing it for the first time, it will be pretty confusing on which stop to alight.

As a general guide, if you are staying in North Pattaya (around Terminal 21 or further up North) alight at the first stop. This is where the bus will stop in front of a taxi kiosk.

If you are staying closer to walking street, Treetown area, alight at second stop.

Alight at the final stop if you are staying in Jom Tien area.

After you alight, you can use this app call Bolt, which is something like grab. I found is to be the cheapest option most of the time (pretty sure that is cheaper than flagged down taxi services). Use it to get your taxi to your hotel.

Just to add on for this, I read somewhere about this before my trip too so I alighted at the first stop which was nearest to my hotel distance-wise I think. I thought the first stop was exactly at the pattaya north bus terminal but its some ulu spot with bikes... Took a bike from there to my hotel in soi8 and cost 80baht(a ripoff imo since it only took like 2mins).

Now that I am more familiar with the area I think I will stop somewhere later where I can hop on the songthaew. For my first songthaew ride I made a mistake of asking how much it is, got quoted 20baht... knn 10 baht also want to scam me.
