Bro AC is over-optimistic again...if they can get 4th place n get to play the european champions league we would be happy enough :)...3rd place would be a bonus ;)

As long they play to their best ability and stick to ETH plan, getting a point should not be too difficult.

It's half time now n the score is 2-0 :)...Lady luck smiling on them again...after scoring their 1st goal thru casemiro in the 6th min, they relaxed again n went on the back foot n let chelski attacked them wave after wave until they nearly scored n equaliser....against the run of play n launching a rare counter attack at the end of 1st half stoppage time, Martial scored their 2nd goal assisted by casemiro then Sancho :)...the game is marred so far by the serious injury to Antony in the 20++ min when he had to be stretched off the field :mad:

Not the best of first halves, we were lucky that the Chelsea forward line has been worse than ours this season. And we finally took our chances. Might have ended the half 2-3 down, were it not for Mudryk, Havertz and Gallagher having duck legs/heads. As it turned out, we got into the break two goals to the good.

Casemiro's header was great, but his no-look chip to Sancho was a peach, who then made a good decision/pass to assist Martial's goal.

Second half Chelsea just collapsed and gifted us the two goals, basically. Clumsy, tired tackle on Bruno leading to the penalty, and a poor pass trying to play out of their own box leading to Rashford's 30th goal of the season - first player since Van Persie do hit 30 in a season since that last title.

De Gea made some good saves, but could do nothing about Felix's goal. Pity, he was so close to another clean sheet. Think they had more or less switched off by then, allowing Felix to run so far and then take the shot.

Anyway, job done, UCL-wise. Sweating on Shaw's and Antony's injuries though. Hope we have a somewhat full squad to choose from, in the cup final.

So the game ended 4-1 in favour of the Red Devils :) n now they r confirmed in top 4 n qualify to play european champion league football...1st time they scored more than 2 goals in a match after so long...can say they thrashed the boys in blue from london who r so weak now without a proper manager

Not a convincing win though...they nearly got walloped by the boys in blue from london had their strikers been more clinical...Chelski's strikers managed to breach the red defences many times but just couldn't put the ball into DDG's net...they really had lady luck smiling on them again in this match

short n sweet commentary of the match ;)...yes, by the time Felix scored his goal their tyre had already punctured, no more strength to keep going n fighting the blues...luckily the match was abt to end otherwise Chelski may be able to stage a come back of some sorts
