statistics will show most sponsors of the bar and agogo girls would be farangs...gwai los...who are happy to send money from abroad to these girls..
many Thai girls like to have a baby with a white man cause the kid will be so pretty...

More farangs populating the beer bars is one thing, but that's not same as looser purse strings. Haven't we heard this time honoured remark "cheap charlies"?

So this also bears statistical incidence of tie-ups with thai girls, either settling down (2 weeks become >2 years after experiencing temptations in LOS vs home dreariness) or remote sponsor. Many farang-fied forums testify to this.

It's also the proverbial meal ticket (ill conceived or not) out of poverty in Isaan outback.

And asians are neither immune to this, just maybe statistically lesser nos. and also less outspoken than caucasian brothers (on such indiscretions hehe):p

It's in front of Royal Twin Towers Hotel on 2nd road opposite Royal Garden Mall.
Price THB 1000 - 1500 depending on season, no bfast but Royal Garden has lots to eat anyway, who wakes up in time for breakfast  no wifi but free use internet computer downstairs, home cooked food menu not bad, no problems with bringing girls back but 2nd girl charge is THB300.

Friendly, cosy hotel. I like!

Enjoy

No bath tub in all rooms.Small balconey however looking to the next building. No smoking, except in the balconey ( ash tray with small table and chair provided. If caught smoking.... fine thb1000 !.

Free wifi in all rooms. And Girl Friendly. Look for Miss Emmy ( receptionist ) very friendly.

Lollipop bj bar is a few doors away from hotel with bad quality girls !. Oscar agogo also nearby in Soi Buak Hao. Plenty of beer bars around.

Thank guys.

With this kind of rates, I still prefer staying again in Baywalk Residence at 1359 bahts (free wifi & g/f) in beach road very near to walking street. This hotel is located next to Pattaya City Walk (Fraser Resorts) and Royal Garden Mall at soi 13/4. My recent trip I was quote a special rate of 1200 bahts and was also upgrade to deluxe room with balcony. It's value for money and the rates does change from date to date.

Re: Pattaya

Hi

My two cents about this "girls prefer farang to asians or the contrary" debate. For me it's rubbish!

I am myself farang and enjoy this forum in which I can find valuable information on China, Malayasia, SG, etc... In exchange I try to contribute to the Thailand thread which in my opinion is not so well documented as others.

From many talks with girls in thailand I had very diverse opinions: some prefer asians other prefer farangs.. I think there is no need to be obsessed by this matter. My opinion is that they prefer (classed by order of importance) anyone who gives them more money, who is nicer and more polite, who is not ugly, whatever its nationality or race.
You should also know that at least half of these girls have a Thai Boyfriend, which definitely rules out the "they don't like asian" hypothesis.

So it's not the money (you guys tend to overpay), it's not the politeness (you are usually more polite than farangs), and it's not the lack of taste for asian faces (they have asian BF).

One hypothesis for the "they don't like asian" is that these girls know the taste of asian customers. Frankly I share the same taste as asian people and I don't understand why farangs go with so many girls I really don't find pretty. I think girls who generally don't apeal to asians know they have no hope with you so they don't bother wasting their time (I wish they would also forget me...). In gogos they are more pretty for your taste so they know they may have a chance, hence a different attitude.

About Japanese: they love these Japanese ATMs because they give more money (up to double price), not because they find them more attractive. I don't go to Japanese oriented places for this reason: too expensive and even if you are ready to pay the same price, they will even don't look at me (unless they aren't that pretty).
Cheers!

This was a special rate plus surcharge at that time @ otelrooms.com when I make my booking but the rate have since gone up. Sometime they did offer special rates and overall it's worth for a short stay.

I totally agree with these statements. Most important thing is to loosen yourself and have fun all the way.

I stayed at Pasadena too when I was there during May. Totally love the place. It was new, clean and female staff were all hot looking. I like the decor at the ground floor lobby. They should consider open a lounge at the lobby area

Hi bros, I am planning a long maiden trip (14-20 D) in pattaya about Sept. I would like to ask if bros stayed before at any guesthouses and if so could share your experience, as I find that some of the rates are very much cheaper than hotels (more cost effective due to longer stay).

Below is the list of guesthouses I found interesting during my research.

U just cannot step out of the lobby and roll into the bar next door meh ? :D
There are about 15 places to drink within 1min walking distance from the hotel.

I would love to stay there cuz there is no bar downstairs for some peace and quiet. :p

There are so many and what works for some bros may not work for you.
Best advice if still not sure. Narrow down an area or soi with more guest houses. Go to the reception and ask if u can see the room first. If u don't like smile, say thanks and go to the next one. So many years no guesthouse has refused my request. If like, can choose to pay daily so u can change guesthouses easily. Best part is guest houses (well at least the ones I stayed in) dun charge any joiner fees.
