In the end the score was Man U 3 - Brentford 1 :)...early this morning

It shd actually been a draw 4-4...They were able to weather n withstand the onslaught on their goal safely throughout the 1st half launched by their opposing team Brentford ...DDG again with his heroics saving his team 3 certain goals by Brentford :).. adding on to the only goal they scored near the end of the game...whilst the Red Devils on the other hand scored 3 with B. Fernandes who was the provider for all 3 goals scored missing a very good chance almost nearing the end of the 2nd half to score 1 for himself ...he was just too tired to run or kick the ball anymore :(... otherwise the ball would hv gone in the Brentford goal

The old man i/c again made mistakes in his substitutions half way thru the 2nd half esp by taking off 2 attackers CR7 n Greenwood n replacing them with the deadwood n godson Maguire :( ...Rashford coming on was still ok...he managed to score a goal :)...

not long after the deadwood came in on the pitch, I expected that Brentford would score at least 1 goal if not more n they did ..almost immediately they scored their goal after mounting a lot of attacks against DDG's goal :(...esp the moment RR took off the 2 attackers, Brendford were given the chance n allowed to mount a lot of attacks as they were now short of an attacker n they were pinned back instead of being on the front foot b4 the 2 substitutions...the old man really shd hv kept on with the same players...better teams like A Villa in the last game would hv punished them n equalised...when the fat Maguire came on, the defence became disorganised thus leading to Brentford's only goal :(

As for the predictions most of the 4 bros who predicted were near correct except Jones was a little far off a bit

Brentford 1 : 3 Man Utd Academy

Good to see three of our academy graduates on the scoresheet.

And two of those goals came from great work in midfield by McTominay, winning the ball in our own half and setting the counter-attacks in motion. Drove forward when the chances came and also put in a good defensive shift.

But yeah, we had De Gea to thank for not being 2 or 3 goals down by half time. This team can't quite muster a full 90-minute performance yet.

It was a game of 2 halves..... 1st half I could have sworn that United wore Red and White Stripe jerseys and 2nd half changed into in their Blue and Yellow outfit.

It was great to see the academy youngsters scoring all 3 goals and the first by Elanga was a gem.... am certain he will be scoring more now that he has broken his duck.

As said earlier, this Utd team still cannot muster a 90-min performance. This their second match in 4 days, expect some fatigue. Expect West Ham to not waste their chances like Brentford did. Plus I think Maguire will play, so dun expect a clean sheet.

Man Utd 2 : 2 West Ham

The more u guys root for them to win, the more they will disappoint u with a loss or a draw...it was only in the last match against Brentford that tis observation was proven wrong...other than that, watever u guys predicted the results went to the other way...

so it seems Paul Merson, imom n Charlie maybe right this time..looks likely that it will be another draw or loss for the Red Devils tonight esp if the fat Maguire plays, totally useless defender...

for me i will go along with the 3 named gentlemen abv to say it will either be a draw at best if not a loss to West Ham....let's hope the well paid players in red can prove me wrong on the field tonight

Thought I had gotten the result right but score wrong... but our forwards (and subs!) combined well deep into Fergie time... Ronaldo>Martial>Cavani>Rashford>Goal!

Hard fought win in the end, and generally dominated. And finally a good full 90 minutes. Hope they don't revert to type again for the next game.

And prove me wrong they did ! :)...so they won tonight again 1-0, their 2nd back-to-back win, this time it was against the Hammers under DM their ex-manager :)..

.they were really v. lucky as Rashford just managed to put the ball into the West Ham net in the last minute of extra time :)...it shd hv been a draw 0-0 actually if not for CR7, Martial n Cavani combining with Rashford (the last 3 subs) for him to kick in the only goal of his side n of the game in the last min of play :)...special mention must be made for Maguire who defended v well tonight...so we jumped into 4th place of the table going just abv the Hammers :)...GGMU !

P/s so for tonight's game, Congrats ! to Jones, Lawro n bro AC who predicted correctly for a MU win but all did not get the scoreline right...both charlie n imom were almost right too with their predictions for a draw, but again the scoreline wasn't right

Shade of offside....Moyes going ballistic over this very last minute winner.

But VAR give the goal....lol

Was expecting a high goal entertaining match though. 1st half was kind of a dampener.
