LK metropole if you're planning to visit Soi LK Metro for agogos.

If you want to stay near Walking Street, then maybe Baywalk Residence. :D

Pattaya Countdown to 2015
 

Dear bros..

Its coming to that time of the year again..ie..Countdown to the New Year !
Its one of the most happening events in Pattaya's calender and even the TAT touts Pattaya as one of the destinations to be if you are celebrating Christmas and New Year in Thailand.

This year the Countdown will start with the lighting up of a massive Christmas tree near Bali Hai pier. From Christmas till the New Year there will be daily events along Beach road starting from Bali Hai.

Beach road itself will be lined up like a Pasar Malam..you can enjoy game stalls like water dunking..throwing darts at balloons..lucky draws to win gold or whisky. Also many food stalls..souvenirs from all over Thailand..and everything else.I always enjoy a walk from Soi 6 heading towards Walking Street.

There will be stages set up..and several concerts will be staged daily..and many Thai famous acts will come and put up a show.

Every Year..many tourists will head to Pattaya..and if you intend on coming here book accommodations early.

New Year itself will be celebrated with a massive fireworks as in most other countries. I enjoy the countdown period as there is really a festive feeling.

For those coming for the first time...always takes the normal precautions when travelling. Travelling times between airport and Pattaya inevitably will take longer as huge hordes of tourists and even Thais descent upon Pattaya.

Girls are also aplenty now. Those that stayed at home are now here to work for the high season.Plenty for everybody. So hope to see some of you here soon..:D

Abg, got go Pattaya walking str before la.. is during daytime when my tirak n i walk pass there from big Buddhist temple to beach rd ma.. not only Pattaya got walking street la.. hehe... AC oso got ma.. 5555:D

So Beach Road is closed?

I always love it when they close Beach Road .......... have this really beachfront holiday feeling ....... although in the many times I've been there , only touch sea water twice ; both not swimming!

The downside is off course , traffic will be a killer with it being backed up all the way to Soi Baukow and 3rd Road.

Haha, brother soi 6 so whats ur recommend for 6of us the hotel to stay. My friend prefer walking distance to access the entertainment place. We go pattaya for 2 days only then will back to bkk.

it tough to recommend anything without details. Pattaya chiong area is like the size of Clementi. You stay South Pattaya , Soi 6 is about 15mins walk. You stay North Pattaya , you are ; vice versa , 15mins away from Walking Street. All this time LK Metro is in the middle but a 10mins detour. I like to call this the Golden Triangle! :p

You might find gems in Soi 6 or Soi 7/8 beer bars and forget all about agogos

2 days not enough and most probably you'll come back not tasting the full delights of Pattaya!

heading to pattaya on friday! gonna be there for about 4 nights. 3rd time headed to the sin city of asia! will be sure to check out soi 6 this time!
